NYPL Owners Meeting Results
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASENEW YORK PAINTBALL LEAGUE â.. OWNERS MEETING RESULTS
Syracuse, NY (February 16th, 2010) â.. NYPL Owners Meeting was held on February 13th where owners expressed their opinions on how the 2010 season should move forward. Several items were up for vote and the NYPL is please announced the results of the owners meeting.
1.Reffing Staff
a.PSP D2 Team FOUNDATION was voted in as reffing staff.
2.Format
a.RaceTo-7 Rule set with the following modifications to PSP Rules
i.Play full 20min clock split into 2, 10min halfâ..s (Rules modified: 2.10.1.5 & 3.2.1.3 & 3.2.4.4.1)
ii.Switch sides at the half (Rules modified: 3.2.2)
iii.1, 2 min timeout per half for a total of 2 (Rules modified: 2.11.1)
3.Super Finals
a.Date to be set 2nd or 3rd weekend in September.
b.Top 8 from each league will receive and invite to this event. They may choose to play or forfeit their invitation to the next highest rank team.
c.Event will run a 16 team single elimination final as it is ran at each of the 2 leagueâ..s finals in August.
4.Prize Dispersion
a.Both leagues voted to disperse cash prizes in the following manor:
i.1st: $4000, 2nd: $3000, 3rd: $2000, 4th: $1000
